It has been a few months now, and we're nowhere near the solution for this issue. This is our current info:

Currently on NW7.31
Our connection to LDAP is working fine. We can search user from both internal and external LDAP.
The issue is when adding or removing a user from an AD group. We keep getting error LDAPRC053.
The user we are using right now to connect to AD is a service account. We also tried using a DA (domain admin) account, ended with the same error.
If anyone have any ideas or solution, that would be great. We have already raised and OSS message, and SAP confirmed it is our LDAP issue.
